Scent Records, a new Dutch label at the horizon…

Scent Records was founded by 3 friends who met in the Dutch Dancescene years ago.

Arash Aryan aka Dj Zagros, The Dj-Producer, who sold his soul to the music. Playing as an international DJ based in The Netherlands. After several releases of his tracks with different international record labels it was time to start Scent Records. Within Scent records he is responsable for A&R and Promotion.

Ali Aryan aka Dj Pacific, DJ-Producer, playing international as a DJ. Together with his brother he works on the Zagros and Pacific live act and their productions. He is the engineer at the Nayra Production Studio and also responsable for A&R.

Gerrit Snellenburg is the founder of RaveLine Holland. Started his company back in 1992. DJ Bookings, Decoration, Party Organisation, its all happening at RaveLine Holland. A great lover of all the variety's in Dance Music. After stepping into the international DJ Agency Scentdjs, at that time based in Canada, and bringing the organisation of the agency to The Netherlands, starting Scent Records was just a logical step into the future... His job at Scent Records is Licesing and Account.

The first release on the label will be from the brothers
Zagros & Pacific – “The Grand”.

This song carries high quality progressive elements, with fantastic female vocals. The track is not fitting into just one specific genre, but touching different styles like Progressive, Trance, (Tech)-House and can even be broadcasted on the radio. This is part of our label policy, bringing out music not restricted by the different genres. After several try outs on international dance floors, we saw the crowd rocking on this track and we knew we had to release this track.

On this first vinyl from Scent Records you also will find an outstanding atmospheric remix by one of Europe’s most respected dj/producer’s Harry Lemon (8) also from the Netherlands. As a bonus you get a dub instrumental version of the remix as well. “The Grand” is already been supported on Holland’s #1 dance station radio 538 (Nokia Dance Department).
